Passes

• Students may come before school without a pass from 7:10-7:25.
• During school hours, students may come on an E-hallpass from their teacher.
• During lunch period, students may come to the library with a prior approved E-hallpass. If a student chooses to come for their lunch period, they must stay in the library the entire time. 
• During Eagle Time, students may come on designated "travel days" (Tuesdays and Thursdays) to study and/or work. 

Food & Drink

Please enjoy your food and drinks outside of the library. The only acceptable drinks in the library by students is bottled water. 

Cell Phones

Cell phones may not be used in the library between 7:30 and 2:30 unless requested by a teacher for school-related purposes/instruction. 

Computers

CMCSS issues all high school students individual laptops. The few desktop computers we have in the library are reserved for technology work orders and may be used for five minutes.

The NEHS Library Media Center has over 15,000 items available for student use. These include fiction, nonfiction, biographies, audiobooks/ebooks, magazine, and reference materials.

Alexandria is the name of our library catalog. This is where you can browse and search for books by title, author, subject, or keyword.

*Please renew or turn your library items in on time to avoid fines. Students may call or email the library to renew items if they are absent on due date.
